Squirtroopa!
Jasper's body, some new faces, also played around with some of the old faces I'm pretty sure.

Blocked out a background
It's a monastery on a mountain, based off of this drawing I did http://i.imgur.com/ipMFo.jpg
which is loosely based on this real life monastery

I doesn't feel like it, but this is probably one of my largest pixel art endeavours ever
also, Choe-Gi without his mask
so uh, any comments on the monastery would be really appreciated. Yep.

That's looking very nice so far, looking forward to see you do this in pixels!
In regards to Choe-Gi with out his mask, I'm finding it a little hard to read his facial features from a distance in comparison to your plethora of faces to the side, I think it might be because he doesn't have as much distinguished shading to shape out where everything is.

Trying something a little different
I may or may not have been consuming alcohol when I decided this is what a mountain looks like
(It's not actually gonna be green, those are just placeholder colours)

Nope, seems to me you're doing it right.
The only thing I can point out is the snow on the windows wouldn't be there as they're covered by the roof.
well i guess if it was windy while it was snowing its possible >_>

The house looks very flat. Are there two floors in the one you've refined? If so, the first floor seems really cramped because of the door's size and position (overlaps window ledges, handle is pretty far up).

(regular sized person standing next to building for reference)
The front building is one floor with a really high ceiling. The windows are designed to provide natural light, not to be looked through, which is why they're placed so high.
It looks flat because you're basically looking at it head on, I don't know how I would give it more depth without changing the perspective.

Okay! I think you can convey depth by playing with shadows created by the various elements of the facades.
I'm looking forward to progress!
