Also, this finally moving to the 3ds to me makes it much more likely that the next pokemon game will be all 3d, which would really bother me, especially if they start the trend with the RSE remake.

I'd rather have full 3D instead of that hideous 2D/3D hybrid of the last two generations (A full 2D overworld again would be my preference but that's not going to happen soooo). Hopefully without a fixed view to give the thing a new spin.


As for this game here, I just really hope they change a few things this time. Evolution and all that (size / animations should be less of a problem with the 3D setup and the dungeon shot on one of the images shows large enough squares to place larger Pokéymons). New mission types. Less when-you-die-you-lose-everything

YES. Really happy to see a 5th gen PMD game, and it'll be a nice change to have 3D models. Ripping from those games was quite the project, heh.

I'm extremely disappointed, as if Pikachu doesn't get enough attention already, I know I might get attacked for this, but, I don't like Pikachu, considerably because he's overrated and I don't really like mice and rats ( you can imagine how I feel about Jerry ! ), i was hoping to be Axew or Tepig too..

I need to get Explorers Of The Sky already, I have all games ( released in the US ) except Time and Sky.

my first reaction was "OMG YES PLEASE!"
but what a let down that you can only be Pikachu and choices for partners is so limited there goes my Machop+Cindaquil and Riolu+Chimchar combos :c
I really hope that isn't really what they meant and it was a mistake or that they change it I don't want Pikachu it's my LEAST favorite Pokémon.
Nonetheless I'll still buy it for the fun that I got from the other PMD games and probably superior plot to the Pokemon games by game freak

Based on the trailer that was just released, it looks like you may be able to choose from Pikachi, Snivy, Axew, Tepig, or Oshawott as the main character, or at least as to who you are playing as (it was in Japanese so I couldn't understand it, but it'd be nice if you could pick one of them right at the start).

If anything at the very least make it Raichu or even Zorua instead, they're not as overrated. But of course with them it has to be a really popular Pokémon who always steals the spotlight so.

I'd honestly prefer if it was Zorua, that pokemon doesn't have as much attention, than pikachu, which is a pretty weak pokemon and it's been around forever.

Once again Nintendo you haven't gotten the balls to be innovative.
