TMNT Rips

I'm not sure how correct some of these are; there's a number of random stray pixels attached to certain poses, and random cut offs on the sprites which make me question their 1:1 likeness.

Additionally, Leonardo has a number of poses that overlap making them difficult to cut out. For example, everything above the "Held" poses, and a number of the poses with the word "attack" near them, as the word attack is overlapping the sprite's "box" -

The stray pixels I'm aware of are sweat beads coming off his head when he gets hit.

I'm not sure what cutoffs you mean.

The labels I made all the same color as each other, and different than the other colors on the sheet, so they can easily be removed with a simple color selection.

The duplicate frames are showing the different animations. For instance, the second hit from behind includes the frames from the first hit from behind, but I left them both in to show that both animations are used on separate occasions.

The grid style that I use makes all the frames the same size, so that instead of having to keep track of the position and dimensions of each frame, you only need to know one frame size, and you can reference the frames by row and column or by index.

EDIT: PS. The width of each frame is the total width of the image divided by the number of frames horizontally. The height of each frame is the total height of the image divided by the number of frames vertically.

Agreed, that's a bit nicer.

On the first sheet, I spotted this;

You mentioned the sweat, and now that I look that does add up, and the sprites may actually be like this, in which case I'm more pointing out the flaw in the original sprites Tongue
The shadow on pose 2 makes no sense, and the sword on pose one has a pixel missing for no reason on the sword... In pose 2 there's also a pink pixel in the middle of his body.
Just wanted to point these out, great job so far though!

Awesome! It's quite a trip to see your own work up on the site for the public to see!

It really is! Big Grin
Also, I'm sorry about your Sierra games not being up yet, I feel bad. It's just nobody has any idea how to organize everything. Most of the sheets seem to have backgrounds but also have various other things with them. It'd be easier to upload them if we just had, say, backgrounds, objects, characters etc. on their own sheets unless you know how we should name this stuff.

Yeah, those sierra sheets are intense. There is a lot of stuff.

I made sheets for the backgrounds, and I made that site to host and display all the animations as well as all the frames of all the animations. But there's just so much stuff there, that I don't expect it to be done any time soon. I thought maybe a Community Project could be set up for Sierra Games ( http://www.spriters-resource.com/communi...?tid=21151 ), but it didn't get a response.

I am curious about the Street Rod 1 and 2, plus that Cruzn' game not being up. No big deal, but I just posted in the Street Rod 1 thread about it.

For all you old-school tmnt fans (what other kind are there), anybody remember this:

I'm interested in old sierra games, but i'm not sure, if there is need for a community project, because your site is already the ultimate resource for all sierra sprites. Sprite sheets are not the only legitimate way to archive sprites on the internet. A game developer has to cut out all the poses from a sheet to use them, but you have them all conveniently organized in zip-files and even as animated gifs. TSR should rather have your site linked under 'resources/affiliates'.

I ripped these a long while ago but I immediately edited them and lost the original files, glad to see that somebody is putting in the effort.

You're only missing the animation when they're caught by Roadkill Rodney. and the de-mutation from Shredder's attack. They're could be more but its been a while since i last played it.
Also, be sure to look through the tile-viewer (F4) to search for unused stuff. Here's some info that features what i mentioned.

Maybe I can help out!

There's quite a few animations you're still missing in addition to those mentioned earlier in the thread, namely:

-Each turtle can do a wall flip/ wall jump animation. Try it by jumping off of the far right-side wall on the first level at the end of the flaming corridor. This is the section where you face the first Roadkill Rodney (right before the first boss fight with Rocksteady).

-Also they need their anims for when they get smashed into a wall and slowly slide down it.

-Don't forget those sprites for when they fall into the open manhole, or when a mouser grabs their hand.

Great job with these rips, I know for a fact how tedious of an undertaking it is!

You seem to be missing the sprites of Leo, Raph, and Don when they get hit while a Foot ninja is holding them...

Other than that, great job! I remember pumping God-knows-how-many quarters into this game when I was a kid[/align]
