But eh I doubt he's dead, that's too extreme for a Mario game. Bowser's been dropped in lava on multiple occasions, turning him into a skeleton (AKA Dry Bowser) and he still lives.

Is Boom-Boom a species, or is it a specific character?

No idea, but I always liked to PICTURE it as a specific character, constantly trying to one-up you again and again. However, I'm pretty sure I could be proven wrong. After all, he appears in EVERY airship and tank in the last world of Super Mario Bros 3.

I guess it doesn't matter, really. Things like this change so often. The Hammer Bros. and Lakitu were originally supposed to be singular characters as well, but we all see what happened with that.

Mario, Zelda, Pokémon, Sonic, Smash Bros., TF2, Minecraft, etc. get all the attention, and other series like Kirby, Digimon, etc. are kind of left behind (I'd say Bomberman too but there hasn't been any games (at least none that pertain to the main series' story) since the 360 horror and they stupidly cancelled what looked like it was going to be what we were all longing for on the PSP that I had my heart set on).
But really what he meant was we don't need this thread to turn into another Koopalings discussion since we already have a thread for that so please read into what people say more carefully, just for the sake of preventing any conflicts.

It just sounded to me like you didn't like how puggsoy was saying that we should try to prevent another Koopalings discussion. I wasn't totally sure but I was mostly saying that we already have a thread for that subject and I figured that's what puggsoy meant.

Ok, Wart wasn't all that major.

His one weakness was veggies, and his fight was next to a vegetable making machine. Anyone that confident/stupid has such big balls he MAKES himself a major character without any build up. Too Wart, a toad with hella big balls.
