On the upside I got off work a couple hours early
on the downside thepowerwill be out until 3 am and i didnt have time to charge anything and this candle isnt giving me enught light to read

My throat is absolutely killing me, and right now I can hardly even talk. Good thing my job relies on my ability to communicate... I guess if there's a bright side, my grandpa has a check in the mail for me, and knowing him it'll more than cover any drop in my paycheck from sick time.

TV receiver isn't working for who knows what reason. My dad took it to the place we bought it and apparently it worked there after updating its software, but it still didn't work here. I'm guessing that there's something wrong with the satellite dish but my dad's bringing it back to see if it's the receiver.

I felt like I was recovering yesterday, but today my illness kicked it into second gear and now my throat pain has spread to my gums in the back, as well as my ears, and I don't have a thermometer to check but I'm pretty sure I have a fever. I had to be sent home from work because it took a lot of effort to talk at a normal volume, and doing so fucked up my throat.

So I totally forgot for 2 weeks now to send a classmate the syllabus so that she lent me so she can do her project. I feel like an asshole. I just typed it up for her since my scanner is down and emailed it both to her school email address and to the online learning center's address for her. I hope to God she gets it and can do her project for Friday I really don't want to be a reason someone gets poor grades.
