Okay, let's get something straight here.

You're losing your shit right now because a bunch of reputable artists are telling you to not shift colors across your sprites, and I'm assuming you're calling them "thumbtacks"? Then, in your blind rage, you basically shrug off every bit of criticism (that are there to help you improve) and allow yourself to act high and mighty and that Nothing You Will Ever Do In The Art World Will Be Bad, even allowing yourself to basically come off like a jerk because you're just that incapable of receiving criticism.

Look, this is how people act in the real world. People will criticize, and there is literally no job that is safe from that. The art world is a good way of teaching yourself to accept criticism and learn to improve, and if you're going to let yourself get worked up over it, then you're just going to hate life forever

There are people who will continuously pat you on the back for doing the things you do. These people are great for moments of feeling good, but they're pretty much worthless otherwise. You WANT people to tell you what to do and what not to do, since then you can teach yourself to do things the right way. We're telling you that recoloring is bad, and it's bad because it doesn't show your abilities as an artist, nor does it help you with any form of fundamental self-teaching in art (except maybe color theory, idk). We're telling you that we want to see more of your custom things, since these require more of your abilities and we can therefore find more things for you to improve on.

Don't get so deluded over your need for constant praise. Don't get angry or upset that people don't like the things you make. If you want the praise and the happiness, then do what the critics ask you to do. Make the critics happy, then you can be happy. Get it?

Also, please stop yelling at Thumbtacks, he may come off as a bit harsh at times but he actually just wants you to be able to make better sprites.
We're not ganging on you, just telling you things that'll help and all.
