M&L style bully sprite sheet

^hopefully that worked...
Anyway, I'm new here and was wondering whether this sprite sheet I started making a while back and finished today (random bouts of undirected motivation FTW!) was worthy of making an appearance in your fine custom section.
It's a bully (from SM64) done in M&L style (the only M&L style bully sprite I believe).

You currently have the light source at an angle. The M&L games have the light source directly above the characters and objects.

With mario 64, the horns on the bullies are a bit shorter than the sprites you have here and they don't curve in quite that much. Maybe cutting off a bit of the horn may help a bit.

Also, could I just ask what you are using for a reference?

TBH, I really can't remember, I think I may have used an image of big bully from MKDS and estimations based on having just played SM64 through fully Tongue
I will take all of the advice into account and act upon it, it'll just be in the next few weeks

btw, what's the average sort of age for people submitting customs (rough guess or anything is fine, I'm just somewhat intrigued)

You should grab some other yellows for the horns, as the shades you used have barely any visible contrast. Maybe those in the second-to-last column of the palette would work better.
The feet shouldn't be stuck in the corners as you have them - you should loop up some pictures of bully. Also, they shouldn't change their size during the animation - most notably on the side view, their length changes quite a bit.
He should face a bit more downwards and not directly towards the camera - just look at Mario.
It may also be a tad too big. Look at the Bob-Omb overworlds or Goomba - try to work with a sprite size of 16x24px (yes, size is a part of the style, too).
