Palette Help

Without going into details, I'd like some help with a Game Boy Color palette that would look nice in an RPG with a modern setting. The Game Boy Pokemons look too dull/serious, something like Telefang's might work better but I dunno. Though GSC is too dull, I certainly don't want anything ultra-vibrant. TSRPG is a good example of a nice palette for a modern setting, but I'd like something a little different. If anyone can point me to a game they think has the perfect RPG palette I'd be very grateful.

I've only ever played/owned one Game Boy Color game, and I really like the palette for it: Link's Awakening DX.
