I'm sorry what kind of pen? One for a graphics tablet, a fountain/inkwell pen? A pen for holding animals? The question is really vague and I'm not sure where you're going with this.

Okay - we're talking about a pen-display here. If you're new to tablets in graphic design, I'd just stick with a dinky little Wacom Bamboo tablet (if you're just gonna use it for spriting).

Like - let's get that out of the way, you're not just using this for spriting, right? Pen displays are typically around the ballpark of $2000 - unless you're like fresh out of college and serious about graphic design (using it in your advertising career, engineer who uh...draws stuff?) I probably wouldn't bother investing in one of these unless you've had a regular tablet and said "oh, drawing on a responsive tablet input just isn't doing it for me".

or of course if you're like a prodigal artist or something

First of all, I wanna animate and i just dont like my bamboo tablet (plus i lost the pen). Second of all, I believe college isn't an option in Sweden and i'm 14. But thanks for the helping response, i'm gonna give my bamboo tablet another try (when i have bought a new pen).
