Are you kidding? That box art is awesome

It's cool, yes, but the amount of uncanny valley going on in it slightly unappeals to me. Also, the Japanese box art has a better likeness to Goemon.

But then again, I'll give the American box art props for not having a middle-aged man like Ebisumaru wear tutu...

I'll admit both box arts are charming but c'mon, he's riding a tiger in the NA version and it look like a completely more kick ass game with all the noise in the background.

Touché, that neglects any flaws I had for the North American box art. Besides, they did a good job of making the tiger look cute and ferocious.

Anyway, while I don't know Caddicarus personally like you do, I actually occasionally Skype/e-mail an acquaintance of Caddicarus who goes by the name of Tealgamemaster. He runs a channel on YouTube where he does Let's Plays and he had Caddicarus guest star in a few of them.

I actually prefer the US boxart over the Japanese one, the Japanese one looks like Harry-Potter-Fern-Gully-what-the-hell-is-going-on-here.


I only have the disc for Dark Cloud 2 so thanks for reminding me that I need to acquire the box at some point.
