I did, I hate it, and probably wouldn't continue the sprite if it had to be this uninteresting way. I'd rather deal with him being a tinge of orange rather than being flat and boring guys.

I personally like the whole highlights thing, but the hues do tend towards the orange range

I darkened his tones a little, and hued them more towards red; he kind of has a virtual boy thing going on now though..

id keep at it, your stuff has always been fun to look at
