I hope this doesn't offend you, but this probably isn't the kind of submission this site is looking for. Unless these are pre-rendered sprites (like the ones seen in the Donkey Kong Country games), taking screenshots of the animation frames of a model is a little inefficient when anyone could just take the actual model and pose it however they wish (which is why the models section of the site exists). Besides, since a CGI model is capable of being displayed at multiple angles and can be zoomed in for an infinite number of resolutions, getting a "complete" "sprite sheet" of a CGI model is practically impossible.

Not to mention, you posted this in the Custom Sprites forum, a forum where you are supposed to post sprites that you made.

Boo Mario from Super Mario Galaxy was actually submitted similarly to this. But the sheet is not a custom sprite.
You mean this sheet?
http://www.spriters-resource.com/wii/sup...heet/8149/ I'm not sure why this even got accepted in the first place since it isn't even a pre-rendered sprite like the ones from the Donkey Kong Country games and Super Mario RPG. In fact, wasn't there a guideline to what can and cannot be submitted to this site that covers stuff like this?

Speaking of models submitted as sprites, all kinds of 3D models from the original StarFox were submitted to TSR as "sprites" as well.

Well, I had fun posterizing these. I even edited one of the frames to make it seem made from scratch.

They aren't pre-rendered, but these still have their uses. Sometimes you can't use the actual model, you know? Cause of a multitude of reasons.
Actually... Once they're in sprite form, they are "pre-rendered" or similar to it. After all, Donkey Kong Country took CGI models and made them into 2D frame-by-frame sprites. And that's essentially what he's doing. He's taking the model and turning it into a 2D frame-by-frame sprite.
A sprite doesn't always have to be something made pixel-by-pixel. Primal Rage was done in clay! Thanked by: Paladin, SchAlternate
