I'm trying to figure out what's going on with the contests. They've only been showing Pikachu, which could mean one of two things: Spoiler Moderation, or, that there's only like a small handful of Pokemon you can actually dress up for battle like that, with Pikachu being one of them. If it's the latter, I have to ask...was there a limit on this in the GBA games? I know for Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, the little park where you can walk around with Pokemon was limited to only "cute" Pokemon, but I thought contests were more open ended. I'm just worried we won't be able to use our favorites, and instead have to work within this really small narrow range.

Dressing up is a new thing in this game. But in the original gen 3 in the case of contests, all Pokemon were legal and every move had an alternate effect that was present in the beauty shows.

Oh oops it's on Serebii - when Pikachu cosplays it gets special new attacks. I'm OK with this.

IIRC, Lanturn, da best Pokemonz evah, could be obtained in the Gen III games. I'm wondering if it'll get a Mega.
