Hey all,
Not sure if this counts as true ripping seeing as it did not involve a game of any sort. But it does involve sprites that I have ripped. Anyway back in 09 I ripped the sprites of Kid Radd from the animated web comic and I am 90% sure I'm the only one to do so and I thought it be worth it to post the sheet I made for other fans of the comic to use for projects and such.
Heres how I've built the sheet so far.
Oh, hey Plokman! I made some absolutely horrible sprites for you a couple years ago.
I could be wrong, but I don't think this is the type of thing the site would except. I'll need a second opinion, though.

Yeah hey Shade long time no see. I wouldn't call those horrible by the way.
Honestly I just wanted to give them to others you know and this is the only site I know of for sprites and such.
This is a tricky one. It's not from a game and as such it technically can't be given a console or game to put it in. It could be possible to put it in PC/Computer and make the "game" the webcomic, but I'm not sure if this accepted at all. I certainly agree that it would be helpful for fans of the comic, but I'll need someone more sure than me to make a decision as to its acceptability.
Regardless, I would like to suggest changing the background colour. Even though white doesn't conflict, it's not suggested and it's honestly a bit uncomfortable to look at. Something like magenta or turquoise is easier on the eyes, and would contrast well with the sheet.
You may have a fresh start any moment you choose, for this thing that we call "failure" is not the falling down, but the staying down. -Mary Pickford
Goddamn, I loved this comic.

Glad you could finally submit something here at last, buddy! What else do you have in mind for ripping?

Hey all sorry about the delay in replying. I can't log in proper on my pc and typing on the Wii U is a bit of a hassle.
I'll reply properly once my log in problem is fixed. Thanks for the help everyone.
I'm afraid that we wouldn't accept something like this. The sprites don't appear in either a notable game, or a commercial product related to a specific series.
Tsunami Bomb - The Simple Truth
We could run away
Leave behind anything paper
Not knowing where we're going to stay
When there's no Mondays
You're part of me, it's so easy to see the simple truth
When I'm in your arms, I feel safe from harm and sorrow too
You're part of me, it's so easy to see the simple truth
But most of all, nothing couldn't be solved when I'm with you

I'll keep it in mind for my next rip. Thank you very much.

Sounds good to me! If all else fails, you could show off your custom sprites/edits to further improve your skills.

True. Though from what I hear Edits are a bit frowned on here. I understand why but stil its a step towards custom ones.

Edits are not so bad as long as they are good ones. Still, try some custom sprites first.
