GAMER LOUNGE 20XX (NO CASUALS!!)
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. Oddly enough, I'm honestly more excited for that than Smash Bros. (by a tiny little smidgen).

Honestly I like Tom Nook better as an animal crossing rep, but I do like Isabelle though.

I'm kind of happy that two games I want are coming out in the same week Cute

Isolation and Smash

I'm excited for Yoshi's Wooly World, although I've always been big on Yoshi games :p

Fortunately there's still a while yet until that comes out and Nintendo's lineup in the next few months is just all over spectacular. I'm even excited for DLC in Mario Kart and Hyrule Warriors, and I've never been big on DLC before.

Oh forgot that Yoshi's Wooly World will make use of Amiibo. With that kind of game it makes me wonder what it would do.

Why is Ferb never part of this stuff? Phineas and Perry everywhere. Disney Infinity, this racing thing... but no Ferb! HIS NAME IS IN THE TITLE! Very Sad

In regards to the game's canon, my guess would be that he was accidentally ignored since Ferb isn't much of a talker. Besides, something similar happened in the episode where Phineas and Ferb became this mechanical bird superhero.

it's ok to suck, sucking is not bad, just try and aim to always do your best!

So apparently, some guys on TCRF found out how to open a Wii U ISO. http://tcrf.net/Mario_Kart_8

Looks like it won't be too much longer before we can rip Wii U content!

With Smash Bros on everyone's mouth will anyone notice Bayonetta 2 on the Wii U? Poor Hideki Kamiya. More importantly, poor Platinum Games. Everything they do seems to fail.

I say yes, because from what I've seen, Bayonetta 2 is one of the main reasons why most people are buying a Wii U. I've seen so many people saying that they'll buy a Wii U for Bayonetta 2 and Bayonetta 2 alone. I've even seen a lot of those who only own/play Nintendo systems, and are interested in getting Bayonetta 2 because it comes with the first, and have heard a lot of great things about the series. Plus, it's in the top five most popular Wii U games on Amazon, and if VGChartz is anything to go by, it's one of the most pre-ordered games in North America.

Also, not everything Platinum makes has failed. Bayonetta 1 and Metal Gear Rising sold quite well. But everything else...didn't, sadly. Sad

I was under the impression that everyone thought everything that Platinum did was gold (or platinum, rather).

It does seem that Nintendo is taking a risk by loading up on so many games this holiday season. On one hand finally having a huge collection of good games to choose from is probably going to push Wii U sales for Christmas, but on the other hand certain games are clearly going to be overshadowed by other more popular games, especially when people can only afford to buy one game in addition to all the other gifts they need to buy.

I just wonder what Nintendo is planning to do with the rest of the console generation... it sure looks like they're unloading all the big guns right off the bat...

Reggie has said a few times that they've been working hard to revise their strategies for 2014 since 2013 had such a ridiculous drought. For most people the Wii U wasn't even on their radar until this past E3 when it's been out for over a year so this is probably the best position they could be in at the moment.

I just hope those strategies continue into 2015. We know we have stuff like Splatoon and the New 3DS on the way though, so I have a feeling that we'll start seeing a lot of stuff in the coming months. Nintendo seems to have finally realized that the Wii was an outlier and they can't just float along anymore. 2015 might not be as big, but this E3 told us that there are several heavy hitters still on the way, which is good.
