Actually, those aren't from Disgaea 3 -- they're from the Disgaea platformer game for the PSP (Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero?).

...I'd like to rip the sprites from the 3rd Disgaea game, though. Tongue

(And yeah, I'm working on ripping the rest of the characters, but first I'm going back and updating two of my other sheets.)

Are you serious? I can't wait till it comes out in the US. And I can't wait till you are finished with the prinnys.

*grumbles* Sorry, I'm in a bit of a rotten mood right now, thanks to my younger brother -- I haven't gotten any sleep in over 24 hours thanks to him... T_T

...but that's not what I'm posting for. I'm submitting the second batch of Prinny sprites, as promised. I'm not sure if the names for a few of them are correct or not -- I got them from a list of names in one of the game's data files.

A little birdie told me that Player 2 gets a blue Silver Hawk when you grab the shield. They were right, so I've added that to the sheet.

Eh. Nothing much, just corrections of two boss names (Kligan, not Gacchan, and the Japanese call Bubble Memories' final boss "Mechanical Skel-Monsta", so...). I've already corrected the sheet on tSR -- it's not worth mentioning in an update because the changes are so insignificant.

Oh my goodness, these rips are excellent and like the style too. Good job RTB.
Amazing! Those are great. I can't wait for the completion of the Prinny game's sprites(as well as the prinnys Genki ^_^).

Not nearly as large of an update at the previous one (mainly 'cuz I'm not done sorting out the rest of the Prinny sprites), but... Here's 3 new AzuFight rips, and updates to 5 of my older ones. (I'm submitting the Kamineko and Chiyo-Chichi anyway, even though I'm not done with their MUGENized versions yet.)

Here's what's been fixed for those 5 sheets:

Chiyo:
  • Corrected the last sprite for "DP + A", the "Landing on Front" and "Laying on Front" animations, and the first two sprites for "Getting Up (Front)".
  • Added a missing sprite to both "Stand" and "Wobble".
  • Added the background effect for her "Forward, Back, Forward, HCF + C" Burst Super attack.

Osaka:
  • Corrected the sprites for a CRAPLOAD of animations -- "Unknown Attack 1", "SC (Stylish Cancel)", "QCF + SC", "Aerial QCF + SC", "Aerial QCB + B (EX Osaka Only)", "Unknown Attack 3", "BDP + C", "QCB + B (EX Osaka Only)", "DF + C", "QCFx2 + C" (for both Osaka and the sea slugs), "QCBx2 + C (EX Osaka Only), "QCB + C + Back + C", "QCF + A and QCF "Aerial Throw (?)" "Laying on Front" and that "Unknown Animation". That's what I get for ripping them from in-game, with that stupid unnecessary sprite stretching/squishing. Ded
  • Added a missing sprite to both "Walk" and "QCBx2 + C ... + Forward + C".
  • Added the effect for her "EX Aerial QCF + B" and the background effect for her "QCB, HCF + C" Burst Super attack.
  • Correctly labelled an animation ("Unknown Attack 3" [which should've been "Unknown Attack 4"] is actually "Burst QCB + B (EX Osaka Only)").
  • ...and I fixed the stupid mistake with the second sprite from "Wobble". XP


Chiyo, Nyamo, Osaka, Tomo and Yomi:
  • Correctly labelled one of the sprites (to "Going up...!"), after finding out that Chiyo-Chichi uses those sprites for one of his super attacks.
  • Correctly labelled an animation ("Selected/Victory", not just "Selected").

...The last two characters (Sakaki and Yukari) will be ripped at a later time, as I have to resort to ripping them from in-game (and using the data extraction to make sure they're not stretched), because they have pure black in their sprites (which is also the transparency colour in the extracted files).

Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got a ton (well over 1,000) of sprite sheets to organize for tSR...
