Congrats to whoever got it, it's a great game Smile

Got Civ V for $7.49, will probably try it out after I wrap up school next week, until then I've gotta worry about finishing my homework, projects, and getting good enough grades to graduate at the beginning of next month along with hoping I don't fail for attendance.

EDIT: pfff I played it for a good 2 hours yesterday, awesome game brings back some good memories.

Was just gonna get the few Skullgirls characters I was missing, but apparently....

it was just Beowulf, who's free right now

woo woo there's no better deal than free!!!

I'm on the fence about Hunie Pop. I can play a puzzle game and cartoon girls will talk to me.
I like puzzles and I like cartoon girls. But at the same time I don't want to be that guy.
y'know, creepy let's play guy who marathons Hunie Pop for the gameplay

(????DOES THIS GUY SEEM FAMILIAR TO YOU????)
V

oh well maybe I'll have a friend who sees it on my wishlist and buys it for me as a joke

dude if you're on the fence about hunie pop you should definitely buy it, especially at 50% off
it's seriously unironically good, and not in the anime loser kind of way

You actually WILL unironically play it for the gameplay, and that's the weirdest part about it. It's actually fun.

Finally a chance to snap up some WayForward games on the cheap! I got Shantae Risky's Revenge for a few bucks, still holding out on some of the other titles to see if they drop lower (Seriously, only 25% off Pirate's Curse?). Risky's Revenge is a totally top-notch Metroidvania from what I've played so far. Great characters, cool enemies, and tight controls. Very solid overall. I also got NecroDancer and a few other games I've been looking forward to; I'll give those a shot later.

Anybody thinking of ripping the Steam monster game? You've got a week before it's taken down forever, probably. Tongue

Fallout 3 is a pretty good game but I've only played the 360 version. The PC version comes with all the DLC and has mod support etc so if it's cheap, go ahead and get it.

I've played Fallout 3 on PC and it's really nice. I never finished it (should get round to that) but it's a really interesting world with heaps of stuff to do. The combat's pretty neat as well. My sister's finished it and apparently the main story is brilliant as well.

Like Viper said, along with DLC and mods it's probably well worth getting.

Gotta get that done then get that sweet sweet New Vegas action while you're at it.

Also, yes this is a recommendation for FO3. If you want to be a little cheap, it'll probably go back to the cheaper than dirt tendencies it usually does after FO4 comes out, but I would recommend playing FO3 and NV before 4 comes out.

I have an extra copy of Uplink, I don't want.

I would trade it for a bunch of cards.

I always HIGHLY recommend Dark Souls, but I'm incredibly bias. I'd say search for a video of "Dark Souls First Area" or something and see if you like the way it looks.

It can be unforgiving without a guide or hints, but if you get good at it on your own it is ooooh so satisfying.

Be prepared to die a lot though. On my first playthrough I'm pretty sure I died to almost every boss at least once (except the bosses I missed and ones I was over leveled for), and one boss when I really sucked at the game I lost to at least a hundred times until I beat him.
