Attic Faerie Archer & Wizard Faerie Warrior Hindel Hindel was really something... And i kept the worst dragon for last, Belial....
I was thinking about adding the rest of Nebulapolis to the "Odin Throne room" sheet since they use the same background, but im wondering, was there a particuliar reason why the sprites are all placed on top of each other? It makes a lot of empty spaces.
Edit: King Valentine should probably be moved to the Npc section, although he is one of the main antagonist, we actually never fight him. Thanked by: Ton

I believe the placement was a stylistic choice of Smithy. Most of his sheets are laid out the same way.
It was just a way I used to organize by animation/parts. I thought it would be a lot more user friendly than just lumping all of the sprites together.
Of course, you don't HAVE to do it my way. It was just something I did on my own. Thanked by: daemoth
Hmm, thats weird. Im currently uploading some files for Kings of Dragon pass and... how is it possible that a sheet that is only 2471 x 2186 end up being 10 mb....?

I'm not sure (since I'm not very experienced with the PNG format) but I think that due to the large variation of colours, the compression doesn't manage to really cut it down all that much. Comparing this with a 100% white image of the same size, only ends up being 22KB since it's obviously very easy to losslessly compress an image of a single colour. The more colours you have (and the more often they change within the image), the harder it is to compress the data without losing quality.
That's my guess, anyway. Thanked by: daemoth

This application does wonders, you should run your sheets through this before uploading. It may well reduce their size a fair bit without changing the quality. I also wanted to give you a heads up, we may have a complaint coming in from the game's developer. They've contacted me on Twitter and I'm going to try and convince them that they shouldn't request the content be taken down. https://twitter.com/KingDragonPass/statu...3121845249

That's a pretty silly request by them... It's not like we're removing the fact that they made the graphics. The game name is right there. And it's "Not helping (them) make more games"? What does that even mean? It's not preventing them from making any either. I'm not sure I understand that argument.

A resolution couldn't be met. They requested we remove much of the content and leave only 1 sheet up. I offered to include credit tags for the game's artists on all of the sheets but they weren't happy with that.
This will be the first game entirely removed from the site at a developer's request. Take from that what you will.

Tch, their loss. If anything, we're doing free advertisement for them.

When mainstream developers are not only generally okay with what we do here but actively utilizing the resources themselves, I'd think it's obvious that the benefits (publicity for the game being a big one) of being hosted here outweigh the (arguably nonexistent) drawbacks. But, it is what it is and it's certainly not worth arguing about - it is their right, as the owners of the property, to request it be removed after all.

I take from it that this indie developer doesn't even understand what this site is all about.

Oh well, maybe its because they are selling the orginal artwork. One of them is at 1.1k$.

Oh well. Let's just put up a note, Undertale-style.
