Errors
I noticed an error with the game icon for Felix the Cat (NES).
http://www.spriters-resource.com/nes/felix/
It's using an icon from the bootleg Felix the Cat game by Dragon Co., rather than the real one by Hudson Soft.
Here's an icon that depicts the actual game.

Here's another game I noticed with an incorrect icon.
http://www.spriters-resource.com/pc_comp...inoshiro3/
The icon this game uses is from Shikigami no Shiro II, not the third game. However I can't provide a replacement as I don't own Shikigami no Shiro III's PC port.

as for Dazz's sprite graphic. I see no reason it would break any code unless you're in some arbitrary limitation imposed to you. I don't know programming/site making but I suppose that simply changing the source image can't "completely break things up"

If anything I can fix the graphics for you. Like literally. It's something that's been bugging me forever.

Here. Just put this in the designated folder and replace the old graphic. Will it completely break the site?

It's not even the animated part. It's 2 images. It's right next to the animated one.
Literally all you have to do is plop the new "select2.png" into the directory where the original one. It overwrites it, and voila! Transparency!

Best of all, it saves you like 4kb of server space!!!! OoOSweatdrop

I mean, I guess I could see your position here - you wrote the entire CMS from the ground up so of course there's a concern that something's bound to break if you make even the smallest of changes to it. Also, every page of the site must've been hand-coded and not done in like
ASP or something where pages dynamically load based on the inquiry, otherwise you're pasting that same page-changing code like 50 times which is a bit tedious.
but yeah this doesn't require touching the code at all. it's somewhat kinda splitting hairs, but it's a nice cosmetic change and if you somehow change up the Resources at any point with new background colors, you'd find this out at a later point anyhow.
and um image filesize should have little to no impact on the site, unless you wrote something in the code that explicitly states "This image MUST have [this] many colors, no transparency index and is [this exact filesize]"

which uhh
whoa dang dude that's pretty cool if you did. because that's really, really specific code. ngl

uh..

so here's it with the original:
and here's it being replaced using GOOD OL INSPECT ELEMENT with gors version from above:
and for the proof of concept goodness let's switch out daaz for my twitter avatar (with a "height" parameter to make it 1:1 height)
i mean sure it's shifted over to the left a little since my twitter avatar is a square and the original image is more of a rectangle (128x208), but it certainly still works - nothing is broken

unless there's some major hang-up about making a 2-frame gif transparent i'm failing to see, i have no clue what would break from this

Everyone seems really hung up on my phrasing that replacing it would break something. Kosheh was almost on the right track as he at least acknowledged the part of my post where I referenced the animated portion of the image being what we were worried about. Nothing on the site would break if we removed the images entirely or replaced them with versions 5 times their size (though it would look stupid). The animation would just be too irritating to clean up to be worth the time.

When I originally said that, I had actually forgotten that they were two separate images and really just didn't feel like attempting to remove the background from the animation. That said, after looking at it again, I don't think the animated half even has a background (and even if it did, there's only two frames and it likely wouldn't have been that hard to deal with) and I have no idea why the speech bubble does.

So, for one final point of clarification, the reason I wasn't sure we should do anything about this initially is because I'm pretty sure I brought up the same concern when we were re-desigining and there was a reason Dazz didn't want to replace it. But, since I can't think of what that reason was, I went ahead and uploaded the transparent version (which is actually larger and isn't saving us minuscule amounts of space but that's not really a concern).

I'm still curious why only select people were seeing the background though. On every computer, browser, and OS I tried, I was never able to re-create the issue on my end.

y'know, Petie there technically is still an error on that part of the site though, but d/w because it's not quite something easily fixable in a day (or something you even have to worry about) but

the other error is that Dazz no longer owns that hat
it was purged and a (literal) icon
Gone

let's take a moment of silence in memory of the beautiful blue bucket hat

Can you please shift the section "Battle Map Tilesets" below the section "Battle Maps"? It just looks better when maps & tilesets lay next to each other.

I know this is small but it is inconsistent so hopefully I'm not being nit picky:

NSFW: Check to mark sheet as not safe for work.

In the SOUNDS resource?

Oops! Looks like I missed that one. Should be fixed now.

That does make me wonder what a NSFW sound would even be. Are we talking voice clips with heavy profanity? Sexual noises? If it sounds like porn then listening to it at work is a bad idea?

That or possibly a sound that is a voice clip of rants about politics, religion or anything controversial.

To be honest, the system was designed with images in mind but it didn't make sense to disable it on tSoR. You've already listed some reasons why it might be useful there.

Hey, guys; I went to try and upload new thumbnails over on tMR, but I keep getting a 500 Internal Server error.
