Broken model?
#1
I submitted this model quite some time ago only for it to be rejected because it was broken. I can load the model fine, but peardian couldn't. I don't know what they use but I use Blender 2.76b and I ripped them by exporting to .SMD, fixing any rigging issues and exporting to .DAE .FBX and .OBJ.

Anyone think they could help?

Eyeroll
I get a COLLADA parsing error in blender 2.72a, the mesh loads perfectly fine, but the weights are kill. I think it might have something to do with trying to export from SMD to DAE that blender can't into doing correctly.

I was able to fix it for blender at least with Neosis, this fix usually works for Peardian whenever it happens to my rips.

Original Format > Convert to FBX > Convert back to original format using Neosis

Someone might know a better fix tho

Edit: I just tested with the latest version of blender (2.77) no parsing error, just weights being kill still.

The .DAE you supplyed still works for me thankfully. It might be an improvement but I'm not sure.
I'd also like to vertify is these models work aswell. I exported the model from UModel, converted the .PSK to .dae with noesis, removed doubles and exported to .DAE .OBJ and ,FBX. I at least hope the rigging on it isn't broken but I would like to know if it is.

As far as I can tell everything that is weighted works fine.

That's great to hear.
I'll finally be uploading models again thanks to that.
