I don't like how older updates turn to written view, how about an archive with the icon?

I noticed that last night, Lemon. I guess it helps that you don't have to wait for every icon to load. The site "assumes" you've seen the old updates and converts them to text.

Can't you guys program a cookie to store information like that? Just a simple last visit thing, and all the things prior to the previous visit are in text mode, and the newer ones in icon mode.

I imagine it's put into text mode as a resource saving thing.... Hm. Maybe not, I'm sure we can look into it and find out for you. Give us a little bit and we'll get a response to you as soon as we can.

I think what everybody is forgetting here is the search function.
Now, I'm on both sides of this argument (I agree that the old site was much easier and cleaner to use, while the new one gets rid of annoyances like other>other>other3, for example.) But wait a second. We have a SEARCH BAR now, which I'm assuming people are forgetting because they don't notice it with its bad placement on the site. If you need a specific zelda sprite, type zelda into the search bar, and you still get the entire series like before. The only way it wouldn't work was if for some reason you didn't know the actual name of the game that the sprite was from, but even on the old system you'd still be having the same problem in such a case. tl;dr use the search bar and it'll solve your problems

I think we should have featured threads, like at Pixelation.
Links from the main site or at the top of tSRC would be cool.

The sidebar icons look too shiny and a bit too complicated.
I say give them an easier, simpler feel.

Add a "Multi-Quote Button". This is a button put besides a post that when you click on it, it lets you quote it, however, you can click on as many of these as you like, then, when you press "Reply", or whatever, it has them all quoted for you, so you can respond to each one.

You can quote multiple posts. Click on the quote button at the bottom of the post (in between reply and report) on whichever posts you want to comment, you can click on more than one and then add a reply. This allows you to quote more than one person's post.

It's not a resource saving thing, I'm just assuming people don't want to load 1000+ images when they go to the site's main page.
