They haven't been added yet, have they?
Because he doesn't want to work on that, plain and simple.

Maybe some stuff from Ufouria or the Battle Kid games?

I've been out of spriting for like, I don't know, 3/4 years - don't want to kill my enthusiasm working on something I don't enjoy.

Are the enemies the same for Ufouria and Hebereke? I know 2 characters were changed but not sure about anything else.

And am I right in thinking all the playable characters have been done? (Will have a look later).

+ no idea what the hell Battle Kid is :/

Ok looked into Battle Kid, it's home brew - what's the rules around submitting stuff from such things?

Pretty sure homebrew is just as valid as official games. Even weird ROM hacks count.

I don't know, I mean, the people behind this seemed pretty against having the game available as downloadable and stuck to using cartridges. Obviously the ROM is out there - this is the Internet after all.

Kind of feels a bit wrong. Like I have no issue with emulators for games that don't generate any profit (or I already own, which is - well, a lot) but to download a ROM of this... kinda feels a bit shady.

Will probably email the dudes first.

Yes I am overly moral :/

In other news: Getting close to Journey to Silius being fully sheeted. Probably be done and submitted by Wednesday (though it is pancake day tomorrow so I might be in a food coma...)

Will probably take a look at the Wai Wai World games after that (sure there was something about the sprites from that game that really annoyed me back in the day... though I could have just been crap at the whole sprite thing back then...)

Might also put requests on hold and have a look at Over Horizon as it's one of my favourite 'newly discovered' NES games (as in only played it recently) and there's like only 2 NES games in the O section at the moment...

(And wow no one has ripped Crisis Force... so many sprites... so little time...)

When it comes to fan work, I like to employ the Weird Al rule; We may not HAVE to ask them permission to rip/host, but it's a courtesy to reach out and try first.

Done. Should be fully on the site by time you read this.

In other news. Emailed the Battle Kid guy, he's cool with having the sprites ripped so I'll add that to the list.

Looking into Wai Wai World...

Man, erm... going to rerip this I thing. I mean Konami Man is missing some obvious stuff already (standing punch, crouching punch - for some reason the jumping punch is on it...) and the teleportation is missing his clothes disappearing...

And a lot of the enemies are simply wrong :/

How about Gargoyle's Quest 2? Or does that count as an RPG because of the overworld, towns, and such? All that's there is Firebrand's sprites, and it's just him, none of his projectiles or anything.

Man I love that game, sucked at it as a kid (could never get past that long bridge near the start...)

Added to the list.
