The upload button on imgur is that green "new post" with the cloud icon. Can't miss it, unless you're using a phone, in which case it's still the cloud icon.

Oh boy... I think, we are talking away from each other Tongue . Looks like a language problem here.

With DA account he meant a "DeviantArt" account. Alright, Let's do something to help you out... how about making screens of everything? Visualising this could help. Here is a quick tutorial, how I do this:

Im gonna go out of a whim and say that this is actually pretty bad.
Firstly, we have a colour pallete. Your sprites use none of the colours on it. I'd suggest you go back and look at it.
Secondly, while it's good your character is within the 64x64 limit (for the msot part), he's a tad small.
Thirdly, from what little shading there is, it's either pillowshaded (bad) or has no shading or depth at all.
Fourth, so much stolen content. It's okay to reference things, but this is just flat out stealing srites from other games that don't even resemble the style of TFR.
Fithly, your character is literally the green bird from the angry birds movie. Sheesh.

I'd highly reccomend reading through this and redesigning your character, or at the very least, create original attack sprites and fix his colour pallete.

Not really. The larger size is a bit nicer (especially since it's within the 64x64 range) but the shading on it is really bad. Pillow shading generally doesn't look nice. And you really didn't listen to what I said about the colour palatte.

Look through this and that'll help you get a better grasp of the colours used in the game.
Also, the wing looks a bit strange and he's still just the green bird from Angry Birds.

It's good when things take a while. Search up some guides on spriting, learn about proper shading, study the games palette, exectera

this dude here won't make any decent sprites in-style so far, I suggest doing it in the normal sprite section instead of littering this subforum.

I don't think you're quite ready for this project. I'll be moving your thread to the custom pixel art section so you can get the feedback you need.

There's a lot of things that need to be workshopped here. And when I'm home I'll go into more detail on recommendations, but while I'm here, I want to ask you something:

Why the bird?

A serious, introspective question by the way. Tell me what makes you as a member of the forum want to have your personality represented by it. How does it relate to you? What sets it apart from the source material it is taken from?

Think about a time far from now: will you still want this character to represent you? If not, then you may want to reconsider. If yes, it'll need more personal touches.

I'm with the other users here - but one more thing: keep in mind character balance is important when it comes to making a fighting game character.

like...how on earth is that hammer attack supposed to hit anything, especially with greenbird's humongous beak overshadowing it. plus, you're...a bird. why not actually use a moveset that emphasizes a tight air game (air projectile, dive bomb special, air suplex)

relying on a ton of projectiles is kind of a cop-out, anyway
also how do you misspell "shoryuken" two different ways on the same sheet

Kosheh basically addressed one of the issues for me already. Attacks need to be able to reach their opponent.

Truth be told, some of the older sprites of current fighters have a similar issue that need to be addressed, but that will be discussed elsewhere.

I'm just going to say ditch the idea of making a fighter sheet all together and the character and come up with something original instead of trying to do something based off of some character from Angry Birds The Movie.

Hell just a quick google search and I was able to find the exact same green bird from angry birds. I wouldn't have had a problem with that if it was specified earlier but I do have an issue where you're saying that it's your own original character. EDIT: Someone else also brought this up I realize. My bad!

And honestly, I just don't think you have the necessary skills to make your sprites outstanding or awesome for us to encourage or give you criticism to help you improve unless you really take a step back and think about how you're going to approach the core ideas of making a character before trying to make a series of sprites and just playing around with them.

And on another note, I think this message is warranted at this point:

If you are just here to show your stuff just to get a good rep here, and expect to be praised for not doing much work or have the slightest intent of listening to anyone, then get out.

You aren't the first user to think that you're something special and decide not listen to any of us, most of those people end up getting butthurt because they can't take our criticism and throw a fit.

Maybe you aren't like that, and I hope that you aren't because that tends to annoy people. But lets be real, we don't want to take the time to help you if you aren't willing to put in the work and listen to other users who post on this website who actually do contribute to the community in some way shape or form.

Take Gors' advice from the other thread you made with the Megaman edits:
Quote:Because not only you're bad at pixelart, but you're also bad at locating yourself and what to do. No wonder you already got a negative, and if you keep doing these fuckups i'm sure it'll get worse

If it's not clear enough, you are at a -2 rep for a reason based on what other users think of you based on how you post. If you keep posting in the manner you are now you're just going to keep getting more negative reps, keep going and its a good way for the staff to get on your case about it. That's how shit works here. I've already made up my mind on you on that note, but to be honest with you, you're better off knowing how we feel on our end when we put up with things like this.

Nothing personal, and take this message as you will or not. Far as I am concerned how you react to it or not is just a reflection of who you are as a person in the real world.
