Filler's Sprites

Yeah, I'll be changing that very soon. As it was my first real attempt at a room.

The main issue with that shelf and television is the shadows and how they play out in the room. The shelf needs a longer shadow below it. I recommend looking at The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap for how they do shelves, particularly in Hyrule Castle Town. Another thing: the shadow makes the TV look much closer to the wall than it is supposed to be. The shadow needs more displacement, or if you don't want to do that, at least move the TV farther back. As it is now, the top of the TV as it approaches the wall is a much shorter distance than the dresser it sits on is to the same wall. The TV either needs its shadow moved higher, or the TV's top should have more thickness with the shadow the same distance from the TV's top.

Hope this helps!

I'll be overhauling that room sooner or later.

Here's a massive sprite dump/scratch pad for a single character, since I put way too much time on sprites out of pure dedication to my hobbies.

Usually when making new poses and sprites, I tend to think of the context of them, and how they fit the character. Some of them are pretty rough, but they look fine in animation. The ones labelled "unused" have already been cut from the game project I'm working on.

Some of the sprites have not been updated to suit the character redesign that happened a bit ago. These ones will probably be cut sooner or later depending on how I feel of them.

Redoing the goat again (new sprite is on the right). This time, I changed up the proportions to look more short and stocky, as I think it looks more appealing.

I was going to update my game thread for this, but this thread has had neglect, and that fact this is mostly for a sprite, anyways.

Big farm-like building. Here's the rather huge raw sprite for it.

I may have created a cursed image... 60 FPS Bubsy.

The sprites need more clean up and smoothing. But so far, it looks (barely) passable. I still regret making this, though.

I'm ashamed my best walk cycle is on Bubsy. Just why.

Even though I have already posted this sprite before, I never did post how I do pixel art, now.

A full write-up has been posted on my new Tumblr blog that's mostly for art, now. Has seen here
