I know for the past couple of weeks before the Spriters Resource last update the updates were either late or mentioned the staff being busy (or both). I only ask because I wanted to get an idea about the size and timing of the next update.
Game Boy Advance forever!
We generally update every Saturday. On rare occasions, nobody is able to do it on Saturday and then it falls to Sunday. Other times, we'll intentionally wait until Sunday if there's a reason (like Christmas Eve falling on a Sunday, for instance). I can't comment on the size - it can vary greatly and just depends on what's being ripped and staff availability.

Thanks Petie.

How does it work for the Sounds Resource? It normally gets updated every few months unfortunately :<
It works the same with all of them. We have an exceptionally small staff who have lives outside of the sites as well. Sound submissions, in particular, are extremely time-consuming to review so it takes a very long time to get through that queue.

I'd sign up to do it, if there is even a chance for one to do it. I have a lot of spare time until October and I only work nights so i have roughly all day until 6
0pm to get through things.

I still would like to thank the staff for all the work they do. You guys are good in my book. I mean having to work with submission for 4 sites must be hard. I would like to think anyone who uses any of these sites could show theirĀ thanksĀ in a similar matter...
But I'm not going to be pushy, forceful, guilt tripping anyone to do that (it isn't nice).

i understand the small amount of staff but idk if its something with my models but one of them was submitted on the 30th and still nothing on it, idk if its because of the game its for (sonic forces) but my other one i can understand because the game itself had to be added to the list and it probably takes even longer to approve it in that sense, but none the less i understand you guys have a smalls staff so please take as much time as you guys need!
Also known as Aishi.
Agent 3, you may be an annoying dark souls incarnation of a boss but i swear to all things holy and graceful i love you, you edgy son of a blowfish!
Go read the thread stickied in this forum that outlines why this takes so long if you're still confused. You submitted a model on the 30th - that's 10 days ago. There are currently over 1,500 models pending and the oldest is from the end of November. Patience is a virtue here.

Question, would you ever make it possible for us to view pending games for the sounds-resource or is that always going to be like a surprise thing?
You can already see the games that are pending but we'll never allow viewing of actual pending submissions because it would defeat the purpose of having the queue. We review and manually approve submissions to make sure they're up to our quality standards and if we allowed pending submissions to be visible to the public, there would be a ton of visible content that wouldn't end up being approved.
