Retro64's Customs

Hi,
Even though I haven't made an account until recently, I have been a fan of this website since 2013, and I've finally decided to post some personal art from my portfolio Smile . The only complete sheet that I'm posting right now is Marx.
Edit: Marx is updated (Animations from fight added), as well as better stripes for the ball.
Edit 2: Vertical movement animation added and some organizing
Edit 3: New sheets this time, Mr. Saturn in the the Yoshi's Island Style! This is my first completely custom sprite I'm posting here, so feed back would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

Edit 4: 2 New Sheets, Boshi edited from Yoshi (SMW, ripped by Sonikku) even though it's finished it feels a little empty.
   
The second sheet is Diskun/Disk kun he's made from an official shrunken down logo and edited to be 8bit as well as some palettes passed on other Nintendo Consoles.
   



Any suggestions on how to make it better? Constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated. I would really like to improve!

Mario (Kirby Super Star Style) Created with end credits and gold statue of Mario (The end credits one didn't have most of the body)
   
Boshi (SMW Style) Although it's complete it seems a little empty, so tell me what you think.

Boshi's feet are complicated. They look like shoes with the front ripped off and feet hanging out, in low resolutions it's hard to make it looks like that. Any tips on how to make it better?

I'd keep the back of the shoes and use a Koopaling or Reznor's foot as the base for the front.

Starting work on the trap that appeared in Sonic Mania Adventures, Trying to make it in the Genesis Style!
   

Finished the trap from Sonic Mania Adventures. Including the unused hanging Sonic from Sonic CD (Ripped by AshuaraMoon, Sonicfan32 and Victor t.h.) for an example of how it could be used.

Update on Waluigi made a walk cycle (for my first time animating a walk cycle I think I did pretty well, although his top half looks motionless). Tell me what you think!

Re-did Boshi. With better feet, glasses, and collar. As well as some new details like his tooth and sharp back spikes. It no longer fits within the original tiles but it looks much better.

Just a little test I wanted to make to see how accurately I could downgrade the full Geno render to work on the SNES, similar to how pre-rendered sprites were actually made for SNES games.

The Wario sprite is actually from Mario Family Sewing Patterns, however I did a huge overhaul on the sprite.

Made this Pac-Man back in 2017, touched it up a bit
   

Quick Update quickly touching up my old Pac-Man made me want to start a new one so...I did, sprites below.

Update on the Pac-Land Sprites, finished slide and idle so I animated it with the completed Run/Walk Cycle for a proof of concept of how it could look.

New Sprites Dedede & Meta Knight (Modern)
   
   
While the original sprites while accurate to their original art they are outdated now by the modern designs first introduced in Super Star and haven't changed much since (Dedede and Meta Knight at least) So I wanted to try and update them.
Dedede took the most time, his sprite had very different proportions compared to what we have now (again accurate to art but weird today).

Meta Knight most mostly small things like different mask details, eyes, cape and his sword was made the galaxian.
