#16
A quick little progress update on the new sheet. Work has been crazy and this has been the first day in almost 2 weeks I have had a chance to work on it.

It's funny how even with the censored name, soft drink addiction isn't as better as alcohol addiction. XD
Anyways. I'm really loving these custom Punch out sprites you've been making.

I think his face looks a little blobby in a couple sprites. Particularly his two idle sprites, and 2nd row, sprites 4 & 7.

Otherwise, this looks great!

Is this what you had in mind?

Second head looks good! I'd add a liiiiiittle shade just about his left (our right) eyebrow, but otherwise, great!

After completing my first sprite rip of Great Tiger from Super Punch-Out!! I got the itch for another custom in the series. Here are 2 versions of Great Tiger with some new detailing work and a new color scheme. Maybe just for fun I can have a poll on what one is liked best and make a full sheet of that design.

Any plans to do a Captain N version of King Hippo alongside the normal version?
Thanks Ton, I may also include a Soda Popinski  palette with the sheet. Down the line I think that may be added to the list. I am also toying with the idea of 2 versions of Great Tiger, one arcade influenced and the other NES influenced.

Great Tiger was going to be in the Super Punch-Out on the SNES but they replace him with Heike Kagero

I started work on Great Tiger for SNES Super Punch Out Style. I decided upon a Heike Kagero/Dragon Chan body style as it seems to fit him much better. His arcade version is basically Piston Hurricane redrawn. I have redrawn his arcade head expanding the light/dark shading and added detailing the turban by expanding on the hues in the shading, detailing the gem to show and reflect light and may incorporate the WII version's color changing. I opted not to go with long pants to show more of a transitional phase to his VBA career. The color scheme for his ring gear has a tiger feel to it without going overboard. I am fleshing out this version's Mirage Dance Combo and custom victory pose. Here is how he looks so far.

Here is the Mirage Dance, Great Tiger style. The concept I had in mind is a fast back and fourth of the dance sprites that transitions into a left or right punch that includes a mirror image of Great Tiger appearing with him. The doppelganger will have a different colored gem that is blue, green, or yellow with the real one remaining red. The punch can be dodged, blocked, or countered. A successful counter will disrupt the dance.

These are very cool moe the story was that Great Tiger was gonna be in the SNES version of Super Punch-Out but nintendo wanted a female boxer but after a while they went against the idea and made Heike Kagero the move where he dance around was the magic dance from the great tiger

Here is the finished sheet for Great Tiger in SNES Super Punch Out style! This is the biggest one in the series to date and has resulted in some satisfying challenges to overcome. The 4th, 5th, and 6th rows are the sprites for his version of the Mirage Dance. Please enjoy and as always feedback is welcome!
