Submitting a model & textures to the MR and also submitting the textures to the TR

I've submitted some models to the Models Resource, but I'm tempted to also submit the textures to the Textures Resource. Is this an acceptable practice, or is it just redundant?

I feel like it's somewhat redundant since the textures are included with the model they're designed for but if there's any potential for said textures to be used elsewhere, I don't have a problem with also submitting them to tTR.
