CAB files are hard to get  and need a custom script to extract such files. This is the reason why it took weeks for us to get the files for the champions included in the June Alpha.

Just hold on. We’ll eventually get it.

Will there be an update soon? I could see that on the current version there would be a lot more skin and champion.

Peeps still figuring out how to rip the files from the closed beta. The current ripping Solution doesn’t work with the beta. We’ll just have to wait til someone had to find out a solution for this. For now. We’ll have to play the waiting game.

I heard one of peeps ripping says he might have an easier time doing this if the game is officially released.

No news of Wild Rift CAB files of October 26th. However new champions are arriving. 



These champions are: 
- Evelynn
- Kai'sa
- Akali 
- Seraphine
- Draven
- Darius

- Lee Sin 




That's a total of 13 champions that have not ripped yet. Not to mention the number of skins coming as well. Keep an eye out when rippers officially giving out the files. Riot/Tencent might've had brand new measures to make it difficult for us to rip the models.

Possibly a dumb question but is there any reason they wouldnt want us to be able to extract the models? Like is there a legal concern with extracting the models for non commercial use (obviously they wouldnt want you making a game out of thier models and selling it).

I've a question for you guys though, I know we can't access the new champs and their skins yet, but are we able to Rip the Wild Rift Environment The Champions are Show in by Default ? ( from the previous files that is )

It's possible that they simply want to increase the security of the game. The past methods of extraction might've opened the game up for possible ways to hack it. Knowing China and its huge population of hackers (PUBG anyone?), any hint of information on how to open the game up will eventually mean a step/clue for them on how to make their hacks work. So, it's no surprise that they try to make it very secure. It's very much not illegal for us to get the models. It's really the blame of the hackers ruining things for us again.
