Capcom Style Mugen Horror Game W.I.P..... also Pinhead is finally finished (sprites)
#61
I was thinking last night too that maybe instead of having 6 attack buttons per character, we could do the King of Fighters / Capcom vs SNK thing and just have 4 attack buttons. This would make less work for all of the characters and would also save us the trouble of having to improvise moves for characters that really didn't have that many. I've updated Michael's sprite sheet to show what I mean and have added some ideas for supers:

Just did the same for Eric too:

Just for fun, did the same for Chucky and Ghostface. I don't think they will take that long at all. For Pinhead, I was thinking of toning down his colors to look like Jedah from Darkstalkers, just to save some time, and then using Jedah as a base.

Note about his walk: I made a mistake thinking he could levitate, he actually never does. In Hellraiser 3, I thought I remembered him doing it, in the club scene, but all he does is spreads his arms. Sorry for the confusion.

For those who haven't seen the movies, allow me to introduce you to some of the supporting cast :-)

Top to bottom:
1) Frank from Hellraiser 1
2) Julia from Hellraiser 1 & 2 (as she looks in 2)
3) Not sure who the cutie is on the left, but that's the blue icicle from Hellraiser 3
4) The "dog" from Hellraiser 4
5) The Torso Cenobite from Hellraiser 5
6) The creature from Hellraiser 2, also known as "The Engineer" (Not to be confused with the Engineer in Hellraiser 5)
7) And the original cenobites (Left to right, going by the picture on the right: Butterball, Pinhead, Open/Deep Throat , and Chatterer)

* I made Butterball taller just to be able to put him behind Pinhead for the win pose, feel free to change if needed.

Well thanks dude. Here is the final version of the sprite sheet. Never thought I'd say it, but he is 100% complete.

Very proud of this one. This character was tough to make because of all of the detail. Took me about 6 months, 7-8 hours a day, 4-5 days a week to make this. But I think it was worth it.

Hope to see him playable in the near future:

Came out really well! Do you also add it to the game or are you making them so anyone can play them if they want?

Finished Pinhead looks great! With that new Chucky TV show out this would be a good time to finish this. Looks easier to knock out than your other characters

Lol we'll see about Chucky. I had been working on these at work since I didn't have a lot to do, but things have gotten busy lately. Maybe next year some time I will pick him back up.

By the way, Happy Halloween. If you haven't seen it yet, check out that Halloween Kills movie. Anthony Michael Hall's character is annoying and unnecessary and there were a lot of not funny attempts to be funny throughout the movie, but it was still good.

I saw this commercial when I was watching the Chucky show and it made me think of this game:

I saw that commercial. Wish they made it a bit longer. Mike and Chucky both interacting with someone outside of their films was a dream come true even though they didn’t actually face off.i have the Terrordrome game but it’d be nice to have Capcom style sprites for them. At the very least It, Chucky and Leatherface then Jeepers creepers probably lol. Luckily You already sprited Mike and Pinhead and chuchoryu did Jason, Ghostface and has an unfinished Ash Williams

I wish I knew how to sprite. I think Pennywise would be real easy. All he’d need is basic movements and probably a few jump scare attacks because he’d be transforming a lot. I could picture him as like a boss character with limited moves. If you beat him twice, his final form is that huge thing he turns into

(11-29-2018, 05:24 PM)Hi sil3nt jCan you create a character for me?Thanks!Nathanavinet67@yahoo.comsil3nt j Wrote: Alright had a chance to touch up the Ash portrait. I would say it is about 90% done, I just have to add another color to the hair, skin and shirt and maybe re-size a little. But I think it looks okay. I put all of the portraits together:

For those of you who never saw this, here is the Michael Myers sprite sheet, including the running animation I made for Prime Op's Jaime Lee Curtis edit:

And here's Eric Draven:
