The truth is that I found this forum by chance and I'm glad, I spent 3 months doing this type of sprites on my own and I'm surprised that people have done it since 2011-2012, It's a shame this thread is basically abandoned.

I guess it's not truly abandoned as long as people like you and me keep randomly stumbling on here. I had a look and some of your stuff's great, that remake of your earliest Gengar really shows how good you've got after all that practice. I like the idea of the multiple colour palettes per sprite.

I wanted to tackle all the Johto pokemon that got later evolutions so here are:
Honchkrow - Guardians Rising
Weavile - Secret Wonders
Magnezone - Diamond & Pearl



Weavile I'm particularly pleased with as I've tried to do it at least 4 times, and the earlier attempts all looked terrible. I'm finally happy with how it turned out.

Wanted to put my practice to the test so for Electivire and Magmortar I made this combo card based on their Brilliant Stars team-up attack. Having to share colours between two cards to tie them together made the limited colour palette even trickier but I've always been a sucker for how cool the cards that go together to make a bigger picture look.

I guess it's not truly abandoned as long as people like you and me keep randomly stumbling on here. I had a look and some of your stuff's great, that remake of your earliest Gengar really shows how good you've got after all that practice. I like the idea of the multiple colour palettes per sprite.

I wanted to tackle all the Johto pokemon that got later evolutions so here are:

Thanks, I was redoing my older sprites exactly to show how far I've come and also because I think I clearly wasn't doing the cards justice with those sprites xd, They are literally my first sprites so it's normal that most of them look the way they do.
And about the different palettes, it was something else to fill in because it would feel quite strange to simply upload the sprite like that.

This is something I've been doing for 2 months or so, it's basically all the Brock, Misty, Lt.Surge and Erika Pokemon from the Set Gym Heroes and Gym Challenge, Thinking about it again, it probably would have been better if I did all the Pokemon De Gym Challenge directly instead of what I did, but well it doesn't matter anymore xd.

And that would be all, the truth is that I think this brings an "end" so to speak to a cycle in this forum: Plino back in 2011 was never able to finish Neo Genesis, although if you have read the last things he uploaded it didn't seem like he had much intention of finish it and Derpkip the one that Started this Thread I will assume that he simply had better things to do and help his friend in his project as he himself said. Obviously this does not completely end with Neo Genesis (Trainers, Tools, Etc), but it may be a while until I try to make some Neo Genesis Sprites (I want to try to do other things XD)
I suppose that I am going to continue doing this type of thing, although with less and less time to do them xd.
