(Genki) Katamari Forever .MDL issue

Genki is known for developing racing games such as Wangan Midnight and Tokyo Xtreme Racer. However, they also developed Katamari Forever, which uses some similar formatting to the aforementioned games' structures. The game can be decompiled with wangan_midnight.bms.

The katamari models in the CORE folder are compatible with an importer Maxscript made by Mariokart64n. 
   

All the other models have a different formatting, with the text: RESOURCE:GCM in place of X3D0037. Also, the object files uses a .MONO extension, though its inner structure seems to be the same as the non-katamari models (like the Cousins) These .MONO files have a correlating .GTI file, which I do not know the purpose of.
   

I have tried replacing RESOURCE:GCM with X3D0037 in HxD, but this did not fix the problem. Upon further inspection, the katamari models use .DDS textures, whereas all the other models seem to use .XTD textures.
