MGS2 Rank Icons

Hello! First post on this forum, and I’m all around kind of awkward on forums.

I would really like to get my hands on HQ rips of the icons that show up at the end of an MGS2 playthrough.

I’m not sure how to even get started on this, or if it’s even possible.
They usually show up with a red/black pallette, and some of the icons look like tamagotchi icons.

Can anyone help?

Yes, I meant Metal Gear Solid 2! Sorry.

As for the system,
I personally play the HD collection on Steam, but the original edition is on PS2.

If it has to be a live rip, like with Mesen2, I'd think it'd be especially hard...
it would take AGES to play the game for each rank separately,
and they only show up at the end. No menu of all the ones you've earned.

especially if I had to start from scratch.

Ah thanks! I will check out the dumping thing. That'll help loads, I'm sure.
It'd be really cool to have the sprites.

Also thank you about mentioning the thing about roms, I suspected something like that.
Just my sense of humor.

Just one more thing:
if I do find them, is there any place I could submit/share the sprites?

I found the exact sheet I wanted!!
Luckily all various icons were in the same image file.

That just saved me DAYS, because I only had to play the intro mission once on Very Easy.

I'd love to know if I can post this somewhere!
I'm not sure if I'm allowed to have my name on there,
but I remember visiting the Spriters Resource as an 8 year old,
so that would honestly be a cool experience.

Putting the ripper tag on sheet is a preference thing. Some people like to do it, others not.

Anyway, congratulations for ripping the icons, PCSX2 is a pretty powerful tool and I can always recommend it for PS2 ripping.
