Excellent job, keep up the great work.
Thanks, Yawackary!
Here's what I have for G&W Octopus so far. All I need is the little Octopus in the alarm, which I believe appears in the credits; does anyone know a Gameshark code or have a savestate to skip to them? Also, because I am not only ripping Sega games anymore, could this please be moved to the normal "Submissions" forum?

Fantastic work Eddo, couldn't have done a better job myself. I have a save file with all stars unlocked but unless you have that one which in that case to see the credits go to the Present section at the Gallery Corner to see them (the reason why I haven't included sprites from the credits and the menu animation in my rips was that my original plan was to rip them seperately from the game).
Thanks for moving ths to submissions ,and big thanks to RTB for uploading my Super Shinobi II rips!
I discovered the alarm sprite in the tileset, which surprised me. Makes me wonder waht i was used for; maybe there would be a clock in the game (like Pokemon Gold/Silver) that could be used... Anyway, expect more SGB G&WG sprites and Game & Watch Gallery 2 sprites soon. I also fixed a few things that were messed up on the GBA Octopus sheet. EDIT - I noticed the update to the Special Stage as well, so thanks to the person that did that!

That is a brilliant rip, anyway that unused alarm sprite is actually used in the proper G&Ws since they have a clock and an alarm as well as a game. The clock and alarm weren't emulated until the DS collections I think.

Excellent as usual Eddo and yes I do love easy rips. I got the middle enemy of Classic Vermin to show up on Hard mode (Game B) just on a quick test to check my theory, it might be either a bug or it might not display on Game A.

I'm slowly running out of praises to give you, a great job like usual. Also I occasionally use TinyPic myself for sheets.

Thanks! I was nervous at first because it was a .JPG file when I uploaded it, but luckily it works fine.

Thanks, everyone! And thanks to Dazz and RTB for the uploads!
I can't get VBA to display the game in GBC format. Any ideas? |
