not true
I have several fully working N64 VC games that were "acquired" from the internet

h-
how
n64 emulation works there's just a few things that dont work

paper mario rom works fine but if you can see your opponents health the bar just stays a solid color the whole time for example(just minor stuff like that)
that's the only n64 rom i've tried other than oot and they both worked fine so i'd say it works good

... Wii modding is easier than any other console. It's also the safest.
VC games are stored in .wad files - they can be installed off an SD card. In fact, that's just what the Wii itself does.
You can also modify said .wad file to put whatever rom you want in there, rather than what is already provided.

Thus meaning, N64 has perfect emulation of all games on the Wii.
Tsunami Bomb - The Simple Truth
We could run away
Leave behind anything paper
Not knowing where we're going to stay
When there's no Mondays

You're part of me, it's so easy to see the simple truth
When I'm in your arms, I feel safe from harm and sorrow too
You're part of me, it's so easy to see the simple truth
But most of all, nothing couldn't be solved when I'm with you

Also, the Homebrew Channel (which is basically for games and apps made by other people that aren't wiiware) which is constantly kept up-to-date with the Wii's system updates, which can be installed using nothing but the SD Card and Twilight Princess. (which most Wii owners do or at least, at some point, have owned)
