Well, the sprites don't have a pallet, (or I am blind) and they seem to be in a close style, though.
You could just study the sprites a bit.

Yes, I may have to study the sprites some more.
I'll keep practicing on spriting and see if I can process some showcase-worthy sprites

One question...can we sprite something like custom moves? I think that would be pretty cool .

Probably not, unless you used the Fantasy smash thing.
