Plus Sandman was the very first Punch-Out champ, in the original arcade game. Macho and Sandman are both going to be in. Also, there is no way there's five SPO characters if they dont count the three veterans. There's only 13 characters in the game. Realistically, there's only one slot open. I cannot imagine a Punch-Out game without the original arcade champion. Besides, how can anyone say Sandman has no personality when they put bloody Aran Ryan in the game. That guy was originally just a more politically correct version of Pizza Pasta.(05-08-2009, 08:29 PM)evildevil Wrote:(05-08-2009, 08:15 PM)Tonberry2k Wrote: Was Aran Ryan the pretty boy from the World Circuit in SPO?Aran Ryan was the Irish boxer that begun the World Circuit. The pretty boy you're thinking of might be Narcis Prince.
....And Nintendo Power said the SNES game shares five boxers with the Wii one. Bald Bull, Bear Hugger, and Aran Ryan have been confirmed now. Mr. Sandman and Super Macho Man are very likely to be the other two. That pretty much confirms Dragon Chan is out, at least. Which surprises me. His arcade heritage made me think he was a shoe-in.
Maybe they aren't counting Punch-Out fighters? Bald Bull and Super Macho Man are both from PO and returned in SPO and I heard Sandman was being left out because he had no personality. Maybe I'm wrong.
Might I add that super macho man was the champion in the world circuit champ in both PO and SPO
It's pretty strong that he will get in over sandman imo
