Valve are taking in comments about the system and have been doing so ever since the update.
If it really bothers you, how about telling them. It's kinda strange that Valve is one of the few companies that actively responds to player input (a trait which many gamers often think should be adopted by other producers), and then completely ignore that they can contact them. :V
