It's a unique and original idea, and since Crocomire's as old as I am, they can pull a Pit on him. Maybe he could like like this:

But Ridley is more likely. Possibly even the Omega Metroid.

Honestly, I just want another Metroid representative. Even freaking Mother got another by the third game, yet Samus stays alone...

And no, Zero Suit doesn't count.

To all the people who want Dark Samus in: it'd be a clone. They could work around it to make it not clone-y, but knowing Nintendo, they'd just pull a Toon Link on Dark Samus. =/
