Doesn't anyone know that this game is bringing Sonic back to his roots which means they are on Mobius.

Earth is Mobius...read the comics.

Mobius is like year 14,096 AD. So like 12000 years in the future.

You sir need to learn a couple things.

One my post was sarcasm, hence the sarcasm written in bold letters and the .
Two, Mobius doesn't exist in Sonic game canon. It only exists in comics and other non canon fiction.
Three, Mobius was only known with Americans same with Robotnik, but unlike Robotnik, the story doesn't include Mobius as their home. The original Japanese story made it clear that it was earth even by stating which island Sonic was born on.

Don't use comics as canon since it doesn't connect with whats happening in the games unless it does a tie in.
