I wonder how the HMs are going to work now that every pokemon has a OW sprite, especially surf.

It would be really cool if the OW sprites had animations for field moves, such as a machoke smashing a rock, or of you sitting on a golduck as you surf (instead of a generic sprite)

I think if you use an HM move, you would switch your pokemon out for the move user, and then put your pokemon back out when it's over.
But, if you use surf or waterfall, water pokemon can swim behind you.

What would strength look like?
