Just two examples. These animations actually have the pokemon throwing force into everything, trying to injure the opponent. You can see the bodies move, they look like they are really doing something. A lot of your attack animations are really static, with one pose edited to make two body parts move.
Scizor is a monster, but he's just waving his claw in front of the opponent
