Might I also add that Ghost Babel was a full game (not a remake) and Twin Snakes had so much Nintendo-related extras added to it that it's almost a completely different experience.
They also have Metal Gear on the MSX, but that one is intolerable because it's a rushed port with important story elements rewritted and removed and shittier graphics.
There's also Metal Gear 2: Snake's Revenge, again, non-canon. However, MG2 on the NES isn't a port like MG1; it's a completely different game with a completely different playstyle.
So technically, Snake has been in FOUR Nintendo games ever since the 1980s.
