I dunno, MGS is already crossing the line. MGS4 has 1.5 hours of cut scenes. That already sounds like a movie to me.
actually, that 1.5 hours are from the cutscene where snake beats ocelot to death to the end of the credits.
played through the game five times, first time without skipping cutscenes was like 16 hours, all the times after that where i've skipped like everything averaged out to about 7 to 9 hours
pretty sure MGS3: Subsistence had a third disc in the Europe release which compiled all the cutscenes from the game into a three hour movie, never seen it though
