Two things to keep in mind.
First, if you can't draw it then you sure as hell won't be able to sprite it.
Can you draw? Yes? Good. No? Then practice. You might be able to get away with editing other work for now, but in the long run drawing it on your own will get you further.
Second, when you try shading these Pokémon remember that they have a form you have to express. Your present work doesn't express form that well. Light, and shadow define form. Also remember that you're trying to illustrate that they're themselves on fire -- fire is a light source. An incredibly tricky one.
I'm not about to go study burning things for you so work that out yourself.
