well seeing that Darrkwing duck was a pretty popular show back then I can see why some of those fans would want that character in this game;

I could be interesting as long as he is kept as a zombified creepy version

oh my god he'd lurk in the shadows and then pounce if you get too close
of course by missing he'd bumble about,
but don't think about what happens if he gets you

true, but what seems awsome in this game is it's themathic- zombie versions of old characters attack the new characters. Darkwing is not an old character, and really has no place in the game.

Well technically it's all the characters that got showed up and forgotten because of Mickey

I mean, sure, Darkwing Duck is a relatively new character and probably would never get into the game, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a cameo or something of the sort
