hmm....maybe for the first one, you could make the second shade in the purple only AA the darkest shade to make it look less pillowy. The darkest shade on the hat looks too close to black, make it lighter. The shading also looks a little blocky in some areas. and it might need more contrast.
The second one needs bit more contrast between shades. Black Boo is also using sel-out while your not.

The lineart seems fine, though.
