I had idea for an UpB or Side B. He charges up a little bit by swinging his paintbrush behind him and then he sort of shoots forward, holding the brush in front of him. The brush paints a trail of paint that goes mostly horizontal, but can be titled up and down. Jr can run on the trail like a platform, but no one else can. Or maybe someone else can, but its slippery for everyone except him. It falls quickly, though. When it lands on the ground, it stays for a bit and the ground gets slippery and/or damaging for other people.

Also, possibly he could have a sort of Paintbrush meter that goes up similar to Wario's Fart. The longer this attack isn't used, the longer you can continue to move when you do use it. Also, the paint on the ground would last longer if it'd been charged.

Also, I like the Shadow Mario idea. Maybe as another character, but probably just for his Final Smash. UpB could be a paintbrush helicopter which would work similar to ROB's UpB except faster and for less time. Also, Jr. could have a counter attack where he hols his paintbrush in a defensive stance and any hit results in him swinging it around. Also, tossing globs of paint as a sort of projectile would work well. Shadow Mario can easily not be a Mario clone, just as how Jr. is easily not a Bowser clone.
