If you want a real game try New Super Mario Bros Wii, it plays like a real game. Yes, its just a remake of the DS one, but now it's 4 player on the tv!"What a retard. Either EB Games has really gone downhill, or that person is too closed-minded for his own good. (Or both.)
On the subject of Galaxy, I recently beat the game at a friend's house. It really wasn't too bad. Sure, it's not Super Mario 64, but people shouldn't expect the best out of Nintendo all the time. If there are certain aspects of a game that people disapprove of, Nintendo will probably try to improve upon it in the next game they release.
The same applies to NSMB. I didn't find the game to be a superb Mario game, but they were trying something different. Whenever you dive into new territory, it's likely not going to be perfect. Nintendo clearly has improved upon the original aspects of NSMB in the new Wii installment, and if they make another NSMB game, they'll probably improve upon it even more.
