New Mario game in the works?

When I was high as shit the other day, I was thinking of a Mario Shooter.

I'm sorry that Mario sniping DK in the head would be fucking hilarious.

I doubt that you ever actually get high

Anyway a kid in front of me was playing Mario Party DS the other day (best Mario Party game since the N64 ones imo) and a thought popped in my head that they should make a Mario Party game for the Wii that would have a bunch of the minigames from the N64 MP games, a nice selection of characters (MP8's selection wasn't bad), including full Mii capability, and online play.
But then I remember that if they're too lazy to animate a dress they're probably too lazy to make a good Mario Party game.
